Class Index was one of my first attempts at beginning to examine my relationship with information and the role it played in my environment in the form of a poster. The data I chose to visualize was openly available information about my classmates on social media platforms — I decided to select a few key parameters and experiment how the graphic manifested itself differently based on the rules I had set up. The visualization on both sides of the poster is the same but represented in two different ways to show how the seemingly objective data depends entirely on the perception of how it is viewed.
